Itinerary Detail

Day 1:Arrival in Srinagar

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel. After check-in, proceed for a half-day tour of the famous Mughal Gardens. Visit Nishat Bagh, set against Dal Lake with the Pir Panjal range in the background.

Then visit Shalimar Bagh, the royal garden built by Emperor Jahangir, and Cheshma Shahi, a garden centred on a natural spring overlooking the lake. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake (up to 1 hour). Further, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2:Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, meaning “Meadow of Gold.” Situated at an altitude of 2,740 meters, Sonamarg offers spectacular views of snow-clad mountains and alpine meadows.

You may opt for a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (at your own cost), where snow can be seen throughout the year. Further, return to Srinagar by evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3:Srinagar – Pahalgam (90 km/3 hours)

Post breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds”, located at 2,440 meters above sea level. En route, visit the scenic Saffron fields and the historic Avantipur ruins.

Pahalgam is renowned for its lush valleys and is a favoured location for Indian film shoots. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the natural beauty. An overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 4:Pahalgam Sightseeing

Today, explore the scenic surroundings of Pahalgam (sightseeing on a direct payment basis). Visit Betaab Valley, a picturesque spot surrounded by lush greenery and snow-covered peaks. Continue to Aru Valley, known for its meadows, mountains, and as a base for popular treks.

Also visit Chandanwari, the starting point of the annual Amarnath Yatra and a popular snow-sledging area. Further, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 5:Pahalgam – Gulmarg (130 km/4 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg. During heavy snowfall, a vehicle change may be required at additional cost. Gulmarg, meaning “Meadow of Flowers”, is situated at 2,730 metres and is one of India’s top skiing destinations.

Here, you may take the Gulmarg Gondola ride (payable directly), one of the world’s highest cable car systems. Gulmarg also boasts the world’s highest golf course and breathtaking alpine views. Further, enjoy an overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 6:Gulmarg – Srinagar (Departure)

After breakfast, proceed towards Srinagar Airport for your onward journey. It is advisable to leave well in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons. Your tour concludes with wonderful memories of Kashmir.

Thajiwas Glacier trip by pony / Zero Point by union vehicle at Sonmarg.
Aru, Chandanwari & Betaab Valley sightseeing at Pahalgam: INR 2,500/- per union vehicle (maximum 06 pax).
Entry fees for Aru & Betaab Valley: INR 150/- per person.

Important Points

Sightseeing in Gulmarg is done by horse-drawn carriages, sledges, ATVs, or on foot, as local travel agents’ vehicles are not permitted.
If, due to snow, weather conditions, or local union rules at Pahalgam/Gulmarg/Sonmarg, our vehicles are not permitted beyond a certain point, clients must hire a union vehicle on a direct-pay basis.
Local union cabs, horses, tips, or any services not included in the package must be negotiated and paid directly by the client.
