Kerala Honeymoon Tour Itinerary for 8 Days
Day 1: Arrival at Cochin
After arriving at Cochin Airport, meet our representative, who will escort you to the hotel. Check in and take some rest. Afterward, go sightseeing. Cochin, now Kochi, is also known as "Queen of the Arabian Sea'' and "Gateway to Kerala" and is dotted with numerous attractions.
First, head to Fort Kochi, a seaside area with Dutch, Portuguese, and British colonial architecture and century-old traditional shops. You can purchase traditional clothes, spices, and souvenirs here. Next, visit Dutch Palace or Mattancherry Palace to see the Kerala Murals that depict the portraits of the Kings of Kerala. Afterward, explore Jewish Synagogue, a meeting place for the Jews since 1561, which witnessed the British colonial struggle. Next, visit the Santa Cruz Basilica, a heritage edifice. Lastly, proceed to the burial site of Vasco Da Gama at St. Francis Church.
Also, dig into the Keralan cuisine at one of the many restaurants. Then, in the evening, go to explore the Chinese fishing nets, a unique fishing technique that creates an amazing view during the sunsets.

Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (126 km / 4 hrs)
Leave by road for Munnar in the morning. Munnar, situated almost 6,000 ft above sea level, enchants visitors with its pleasant climate, surroundings, and tea plantations. Enjoy a scenic drive accompanied by the misty roads, the cloudy skies, and dramatic waterfalls. After arriving, check into the hotel. Then, spend the rest of the day at your leisure, doing what you like.
This is followed by an overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
Day 3 of your Kerala honeymoon tour is reserved for Munnar sightseeing. Our well-planned Kerala honeymoon packages will take you to the best tourist places in Munnar.
Visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare species of Nilgiri Tahr. Witness the blooming Neelakurunji in the green valley and a great view of tea plantations from the park. Visit the Tea Museum to learn about the processing of the favorite brew of India. Later, proceed to the Echo Point and experience the natural echo phenomenon. Enjoy a fantastic sunset view in the glittering Kundala Lake in the evening. Later explore the market of Munnar. Also, visit the century-old Christ Church amid the tranquil environment in the old Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (85 km / 3 hrs.)
Post breakfast, check out, and leave for Thekkady, famed for Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. On arrival, check-in and rest for some time. In the afternoon, enjoy a motorboat ride on Periyar Lake for sightseeing. Spot the elephants bathing on the lakeside. Watch the ethereal beauty at sunset. If you are lucky, you can expect a view of the blooming Neelakurinji on the slope of the mountain.
Periyar attracts tourists with its incredible variety of wildlife, including birds, animals, and reptiles, among others. In addition, travelers can enjoy hiking, bamboo rafting, and jungle patrol on the park’s trail.
This is followed by an overnight stay in the Thekkady hotel.
Day 5: Thekkady – Alleppey (150 Km / 3 hrs.)
On day 5 of your honeymoon trip in Kerala, check out and start driving towards Alleppey in the morning, also known as Alappuzha. Once arrived, board a luxury houseboat, locally known as Kettuvallam. Day 7: Kovalam
Relax on the beautiful Kovalam Beach in the morning and then make your way towards Kanyakumari, also known as Cape Comorin during the British days. Here, you will visit the famous ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy your day on the beach. You will also visit the wonderful Padmanabhapuram Palace, an ancient palace with enthralling architecture.
Return to Kovalam for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Kovalam - Trivandrum (20 km / 40 min) / Cochin (212 km / 6 hrs.)
Today is the last day of your Kerala honeymoon tour package. Get transferred to either Cochin or Thiruvananthapuram (also called Trivandrum). Enjoy sightseeing in Trivandrum in the morning. You can visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the Napier Museum, Zoological Park, etc. Drive to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey or get transferred to the Cochin Airport for the same.
