Itinerary Detail

Day 1:

Leh

Upon arrival in Leh, our tour representative will meet you and assist with a smooth transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and unwind. Resting for a day is essential in Ladakh to acclimate to the high altitude. Later, have your dinner and enjoy a restful sleep.

Day 2:

Leh – Alchi – Leh

Start your day with a healthy breakfast, then drive west of Leh to explore the Alchi Monastery. On the way, take a short break near the Magnetic Hill, one of Ladakh’s must-visit places. Next, visit the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Nimu.

After that, continue the journey to Alchi Monastery. Take a moment here to admire the region’s rich art, paintings, and heritage. Next, return to Leh and halt at Pather Sahib Gurudwara on the way back. In the evening, visit the Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Later, take a shopping spree at the local market. Further, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3:

Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardungla (125 km/5 hours)

This morning, enjoy breakfast and prepare to explore Nubra Valley. Head to Nubra Valley via the Khardung La Pass, considered the world’s highest motorable pass. Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, check in at the pre-booked hotel or deluxe camp.

In the evening, enjoy a camel safari in Nubra Valley and head to Hunder, known for its white dunes, where you can ride a double-humped camel. After a fun-filled day, return to the hotel or camp, enjoy dinner, and relax for an overnight stay.

Day 4:

Nubra Valley to Pangong via Shyok River (274 km/8 hours)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel or camp and begin the journey to Pangong Lake. Travel along the route by the Shyok River and stop at Diskit Monastery, one of Ladakh’s most essential and ancient monasteries. Continue driving along one of the most adventurous roads.

Upon reaching Pangong, check in at the camp and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Watch the changing colors of Pangong Lake and experience the beauty of the sunset. Spend the night camping at Pangong. Later, enjoy dinner and a restful sleep.

Day 5:

Pangong Lake to Leh via Changla pass

Wake up to the beautiful sounds of birds in the morning and step outside the camp to witness the sunrise over the lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. On the way, visit Hemis Monastery and Thiksey Monastery, two of the most visited monasteries in Ladakh. After sightseeing, return to Leh, check in at the hotel, and enjoy dinner before an overnight stay.

Day 6:

Departure from Leh

Today is the final day of the tour. In the morning, enjoy breakfast, complete the check-out formalities, and then be escorted to Kushok Bakula Airport to board your flight for the onward journey.

  • Vehicle provided will be as per the itinerary and not at disposal.

  • Buffet meals will be provided at the hotels.
  • Hotels / Camps provide hot water from 6-8 AM and 6-8 PM only.
  • Leh and remote areas have regular power outages. Don’t expect 24hrs electricity.
  • Hotels normally shut the main gates at 11 PM
  • Any modifications and extras will be charged in cash at our Leh office

Sometimes Airtel postpaid works in these areas but we strongly recommend to use only BSL postpaid SIM. Hence we request all our valued guests to take BSNL postpaid SIM card during your Kashmir/Leh tour. The other option is to get in touch with us through our local driver or local office.
