Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival at Delhi

After arrival in Delhi Airport, meet our representative who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels in Delhi. Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is to be spent at leisure. The national capital is home to many heritage sites, entertainment parks, and shopping places including India’s biggest wholesale market Chandni Chowk. So you can enjoy the day on your own by visiting those places, relishing lip-smacking north Indian cuisine, or just by taking a stroll in the neighboring streets of your hotel. One of the best things to do in Delhi is a Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk that allows you time travel.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing Tour

Today morning after breakfast, head out for a city tour of Delhi. During the tour, visit major tourist attractions like Birla Mandir, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, and President’s House. Start the day by visiting the Birla Mandir and seek blessings from Lakshmi and Narayan, the deities of the temple. Then go to UNESCO world heritage site Qutub Minar to explore the 73 m tall tower. The next in line is India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers martyred during the WWI.

Visit the biggest mosque in India Jama Masjid that can house 25000 people at a time in its courtyard. Humayun’s Tomb is the first garden-tomb in India where Mughal emperor Humayun is laid in peace. The President's House is the official residence of the president of India. This Luton’s architectural piece is located on the Raisina Hills making a great view for the tourists in Delhi. In the evening, visit the red stone made Mughal abode Red Fort and enjoy an impressive light and sound show that presents the grand story of the Mughal dynasty.

Day 3: Delhi to Jodhpur by flight

On the 3rd day of the Rajasthan tour, board a flight to Jodhpur from Delhi airport. The city is bestowed with mesmerizing and scenic landscapes. The second-largest city in Rajasthan is also known as the ‘Gateway to Thar’ as the city is located on the edge of the Thar Desert. Jodhpur is also renowned as the Sun City since it features bright and sunny weather throughout the year. The ancient capital of the Kingdom of Marwar is known as the blue city as it is lined by houses in blue shades.

On reaching Jodhpur, Get escorted to one of our enlisted hotels. After completing the check-in formalities and taking some rest, embark on an excursion to beautiful forts and palaces in Jodhpur including the Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, and the Raj Ka Bag Palace.

One of the largest forts in India, Mehrangarh Fort was constructed in1459 by Rao Jodha, a king of Mandore. The fort is situated 410 feet above the Jodhpur city and is surrounded by impressive thick walls. There are several palaces decorated with intricate carvings and expansive courtyards inside the fort are admired by the viewers.

Umaid Bhawan Palace is one of the largest private residences in the world and now a part of it is managed by the Taj Group. Set on 26 acres of gardens, this magnificent palace was once home to the royal family of Jodhpur.

Jaswant Thada was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The white stone mausoleum constructed in 1899 serves as the cremation ground for the royal family of Marwar.

Post lunch, visit other tourist landmarks in Jodhpur including the Government Museum and the beautiful Umed Garden. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 4: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer by Road

Today after breakfast, start your road journey for the ‘Golden city’ Jaisalmer. On the way, take a halt to visit the beautiful town of Osian and the Khichan village. Osian is a beautiful ancient town, which is popular for being a desert retreat. It is also home to some beautifully-carved Jain temples. The next visit is to the Khichan Village, around 35 km from Osian. Visit the Khichan bird sanctuary here, known for welcoming several colorful migratory birds. The sanctuary is home to 3 kinds of birds called Kurjan, Karkara, and Kunch. After enjoying bird watching, continue your journey to Jaisalmer. As you reach the desert city, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for shopping at the local bazaars.

Day 5: Jaisalmer City Tour

On day 5 of the Rajasthan with Varanasi tour, have an early breakfast and embark on a guided tour of Jaisalmer. The Golden City is popular for its Havelis and the massive Jaisalmer Fort made of yellow stone. Built by Rawal Jaisal, a Bhati Rajput in 1156, Jaisalmer Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. The fort has 4 massive doors and there are 7 Jain Temples, Raj Mahal Palace, Lakshminath Temple, and several Havelis inside it.

The 7 Jain temples are Chandraprabhu Temple, Rishabhdev Temple, Parsvanatha Temple, Shantinath  Temple, Kunthunath  Temple, Sambhavnath  Temple, and Shitalnath Temple. All the beautiful temples dedicated to the Jain Tirthankaras were built during the 12th to 16th centuries and reflect the excellence of Rajput architecture in their exquisite carvings and decorations.

After exploring Jaisalmer Fort Palace Museum and Heritage Center, pay a visit to Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Nathmal ki Haveli which are most striking amongst the other Jaisalmer Havelis. Located near the Jaisalmer Railway station, Salim Singh Ki Haveli is known for its intricate architecture with several balconies and peacock shaped roof. The Haveli was built by Salim Singh the then Prime Minister of Jaisalmer in 1815. Nathmal ki Haveli, built by two jeweler brothers has an outstanding interior with intricate paintings and modern amenities. The Haveli is based on an amalgamation of Islamic and Rajputana architecture that has impressive carvings.

After lunch, explore the other major tourist attractions like the Bada Bagh, Government Museum, Folklore Museum, and the Amar Sagar Lake. Bada Bagh is a garden complex overlooking a mango grove where several cenotaphs were built by the kings of Jaisalmer during the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Located near Amar Singh Palace, Amar Sagar is an oasis built in the 17th century. There are a garden and a white marble temple of Lord Shiva near the lake.

For the evening, there are two options to choose from. You can visit the Gadsisar Lake view migratory birds from close quarters or Witness an exotic sunset against the Sam sand dunes on a camel ride. Located at the edge of Jaisalmer Desert Museum, Sam sand dunes are 30-60 meter tall sand dunes in a village named 'Sam'. This major tourist attraction at a distance of 40 km from Jaisalmer is the best site to enjoy jeep safari, camel ride, star gazing, bonfire, and cultural programs like Rajasthani folk dance and music.

Day 6: Jaisalmer to Rohet by Road

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Rohet located at 348 Km from Jaisalmer. Rohet is a small settlement of the Bishnoi community, a local tribe. On arriving at Rohet, check-in at one of the listed hotels. In the afternoon enjoy the jeep safari at Rohet Villages. There is a large lake in the area that is now home to hundreds of birds. The place is very traditional and centered around farming. It is a peaceful place to relax or you can explore the neighborhood by jeep, horse, or on foot. The place is home to a 375-year old fortified desert home known as Rohet Garh, which is now turned into a boutique hotel. Rohet is also an ideal place for enjoying camping in rural Rajasthan.

Day 7: Rohet to Udaipur

Post breakfast, drive straight to Udaipur- “ Venice of the East”. On arrival check-in at one of our enlisted hotels. Rest and relax for the day. In the evening enjoy a boat ride on the Pichola Lake which is among the most popular activities in Udaipur. Also, visit the Lake Palace, one of the finest examples of Rajputana architectural and cultural marvel.

Day 8: Udaipur Tour

Post breakfast, embark on a city tour of Udaipur. Visit some of the major tourist hotspots covering the City Palace Museum, Sahelion Ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, Folk Art Museum and Jagdish Temple. Sahelion Ki Bari is a spectacular garden built by Maharaj Sangram Singh also known as Rana Sangh as a token of love for the queen and her maidens.

In the evening, visit the Grand City Palace on the bank of Lake Pichola along with the Monsoon Palace at the hilltop that enhances the beauty of this magnificent city. The Monsoon Palace, also known as Sajjan Garh Palace is located on the top of a hill of the Aravalli Range overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake. The palace surrounded by the Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary offers a panoramic view of Udaipur City.

Day 9: Udaipur to Jaipur

On day 9 of the Golden Triangle tour, have your breakfast and leave for Jaipur by road. Upon arrival, check-in at one of our enlisted hotels. Later in the day,  explore the major tourist attractions of Jaipur including the Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, Birla Mandir, and Central Museum, the oldest museum in the state also known as Albert Hall. Jal Mahal is an architectural beauty in the middle of the man Sagar Lake built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber. Jaigarh Fort is located on a hilltop known as Cheel ka Teela of the Aravali Range overlooking Amber Fort and Maota Lake.

The evening is to be spent at your own discretion.  You can take a tour of the colorful markets in Jaipur such as Bapu Bazar and Zohori Bazar to buy traditional clothes, jewelry, showpieces, etc. If time permits, take a tour of Chokhi Dhani, a cultural retreat near Jaipur. Enjoy Rajasthani folk music while relishing traditional cuisine in Chokhi Dhani.

Day 10: Jaipur

Day 10 begins with an excursion to the Amber Fort which is accompanied by the exciting joy ride on an elephant. The majestic and picturesque Amber Fort is located at a hilltop, 11 Km away from Jaipur. This is one of the most famous forts in Rajasthan offering outstanding views when it casts its shadow on the Maota Lake.

The afternoon remains busy with the city tour of Jaipur featuring City Palace along with the Royal Observatory and Hawa Mahal. City Palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh I at the same time when the city Jaipur was established from 1729-1732. The palace complex houses many beautiful edifices, temples, museums, and an extensive spectacular garden. The palace is famous for its architectural brilliance, history, and culture. Hawa Mahal or Wind Palace was built as a women's Zenana made of red stone with 933 windows that give the palace the look of a honeycomb. Royal Observatory or Jantar Mantar is the house of astrological equipment used to measure universal harmony.

Day 11: Jaipur - Agra

On day 11 of Rajasthan tour with Agra and Varanasi, have your breakfast and leave for Agra by road. Stop midway to visit Fatehepur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal town to explore places like Salim Chisti's Tomb, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal, etc. Also, visit Buland Darwaja, the largest gate in the world built by Emperor Akbar as the door of victory after winning over Gujarat. After exploration, resume your journey to Agra. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and take some rest.

Later in the day, visit the Itmad-Ud-Daula's Tomb that provides the visitors with some interesting insight into Mughal architecture. Another must-watch architectural wonder is The Agra Fort that is frequented by hundreds of visitors every day. In the evening visit the Oswal Emporium where they have a mini Taj Mahal inside their showroom. It took 10 years in building this mini replica of the Taj. You can also see the free light and sound show depicting the eras of the Taj Mahal.

Day 12: Agra to Varanasi

Get ready for an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal to witness the beauty of “the seventh wonder of the world ''at the time of sunrise and fall in love with its magnificence for a lifetime. This alluring white marble monument with intricate designs in its interiors never fails to enchant a visitor. Later visit the White Mosque and the Tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daulah built by Empress Noor Jahan in the memory of her father. Later in the evening, transfer to Agra railway station to board a train to Varanasi for an overnight journey.

Day 13: Varanasi Sightseeing

Today your Rajasthan with Varanasi tour will allow you to enjoy a boat ride in the holy river the Ganges and visit the sacred Ghats of Varanasi.
