Itinerary Detail

Day 1:

Arrival in Jaipur

Arrive at Jaipur Airport, where our tour representative will welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel.

After reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and relax. The remainder of the day is free for leisure. Depending on your arrival time, you can unwind at the hotel or explore the nearby surroundings independently.

Later, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 2:

Jaipur Sightseeing

The next day, after breakfast, get ready to explore Jaipur’s major attractions. Begin with a visit to Amber Fort, an impressive hilltop fortress that showcases a blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles.

Later, visit Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. Its distinctive façade, decorated with numerous small windows, allowed royal women to observe processions and everyday life without being seen.

Continue to Jantar Mantar, a historic astronomical observatory featuring large instruments designed to study time and celestial movements. Afterwards, visit the City Palace, a sprawling complex of courtyards, museums, gates, and royal buildings.

Conclude your sightseeing tour with a visit to Ram Niwas Garden, a historic public garden housing museums and recreational attractions. Later, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 3:

Jaipur – Chittorgarh

Next day, after breakfast, check out and begin your drive to Chittorgarh. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax. Later, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Chittorgarh Fort, one of Rajasthan’s most historically significant fort complexes.

Within the fort, visit Padmini Palace and Rana Kumbha Palace, both connected with stories of Mewar’s rulers, royal families, and legendary battles. Continue through the historic Hanuman Pol, Ganesh Pol, and Laxman Pol gates.

You will also see the Vijay Stambh, an imposing nine-storey victory tower built in the Rajput architectural style. After exploring the fort complex, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Chittorgarh.

Day 4:

Chittorgarh – Udaipur

Today, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and travel to Udaipur. Upon arrival in Udaipur, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel and relax. Later, begin a half-day sightseeing tour of the City of Lakes.

Start with Saheliyon ki Bari, also known as the Garden of the Maidens. The historic garden is known for its fountains, pools, marble structures, landscaped lawns, and ornamental elephant statues.

Next, visit Gulab Bagh, one of Udaipur’s largest gardens. In the evening, spend some time beside Lake Pichola. You may also opt for a boat ride on the lake at an additional cost. Afterwards, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 5:

Udaipur – Mount Abu

Begin your day with breakfast and prepare for further sightseeing in Udaipur. Start with the City Palace Museum, where galleries, courtyards, royal apartments, artefacts, paintings, and decorative objects offer an insight into Mewar’s regal past.

Next, visit the Crystal Gallery, which displays an impressive collection of crystal furniture, decorative objects, and royal possessions. Continue to the Vintage and Classic Car Museum to see automobiles once used by Udaipur’s royal family.

After sightseeing, begin your drive to Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and unwind after the drive. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Mount Abu.

Day 6:

Mount Abu Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, head out to explore the major attractions of Mount Abu. Begin with the Dilwara Jain Temples, an important group of temples renowned for their marble carvings and sculptures.

Continue to the Brahma Kumari Spiritual University, a prominent spiritual institution that offers an insight into meditation and spiritual learning. Later, visit Nakki Lake, a scenic lake surrounded by hills and rock formations. Depending on availability, you can enjoy boating or take a walk.

Towards evening, proceed to Sunset Point to enjoy panoramic views as the sun sets over the Aravalli Hills. You can also visit Honeymoon Point, another viewpoint known for its surrounding landscapes.

After completing the sightseeing tour, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Mount Abu.

Day 7:

Departure from Mount Abu

Your 7-day Glimpses of Mewar Tour concludes today. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and prepare for your onward journey.

Our tour representative will assist you with a transfer to Abu Road Railway Station. A transfer to Udaipur Airport can also be arranged depending on your departure schedule and travel plans.

Best fit: October to March, when Jaipur, Chittorgarh, and Udaipur are generally more comfortable for fort visits, city sightseeing, market walks, and outdoor exploration.

Also possible: July to September can work for travellers who do not mind humidity and occasional rainfall. Udaipur, Mount Abu, and parts of the Aravalli region appear greener during the monsoon and post-monsoon months.

Avoid: April to June may be uncomfortable for extended outdoor sightseeing in Jaipur, Chittorgarh, and Udaipur. Mount Abu remains relatively cooler, but the journey still includes several destinations in Rajasthan’s hotter plains.
