Itinerary Detail

Day 1:Arrival in Delhi

Arrive at Delhi Airport or railway station, where our tour representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind.

The remainder of the day is free for leisure. You can explore the nearby surroundings independently or unwind at the hotel. Further, have dinner and enjoy an overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2:Delhi Sightseeing Tour

Begin your Delhi sightseeing tour the next day with India Gate, a prominent war memorial surrounded by landscaped lawns. Continue towards Parliament House before visiting Birla Temple, also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple.

Further, explore Humayun’s Tomb, a significant example of Mughal architecture, followed by the lotus-shaped Bahá’í House of Worship, popularly called the Lotus Temple.

Conclude the day with a visit to Red Fort and the Qutub Minar Complex, where you can see Qutub Minar, Alai Darwaza, and the historic Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque. Once the sightseeing tour is complete, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3:Delhi – Jaipur

Set out on a drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and popularly known as the Pink City. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax for a while.

Later, explore Jaipur’s colourful local markets, known for traditional textiles, puppets, handicrafts, gemstones, jewellery, and decorative items.

In the evening, visit Chokhi Dhani, a cultural village resort that introduces you to Rajasthan’s rural traditions. Enjoy folk performances, traditional activities, and a Rajasthani dinner before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 4:Jaipur Sightseeing Tour

Start the day with a visit to Amber Fort, an impressive hilltop fort built using red sandstone and marble. Explore its courtyards, gateways, halls, and palace sections while learning about Jaipur’s Rajput heritage.

Later, continue to City Palace, an extensive royal complex featuring courtyards, gardens, museums, and historic buildings. Parts of the palace continue to serve as the residence of Jaipur’s former royal family.

Next, visit Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Return to the hotel after sightseeing and enjoy an overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5:Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

The next morning, have breakfast and drive towards Agra, the historic Mughal city. En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a former Mughal capital established by Emperor Akbar. Explore the historic complex before continuing your journey to Agra. Upon arrival, complete the hotel check-in formalities and relax briefly.

Later, visit the Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Continue to Agra Fort, a grand fortified complex containing palaces, halls, courtyards, and defensive structures.

Return to the hotel after sightseeing and enjoy an overnight stay in Agra.

Day 6:Agra – Sikandra – Delhi

Fuel up with your morning meal, complete the check-out formalities, and drive to Delhi. En route, halt at Sikandra to visit the Tomb of Emperor Akbar. The monument combines architectural influences from different traditions and is surrounded by landscaped gardens.

Continue the drive to Delhi and check in at the hotel upon arrival. The evening is free for shopping at Delhi’s popular markets, where you can browse textiles, handicrafts, souvenirs, jewellery, and local products.

Return to the hotel after your market visit for dinner and an overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 7:Departure from Delhi

Your 7-day North India Forts and Palaces Tour concludes today. Complete the check-out formalities at the hotel, and our representative will assist you with a transfer to Delhi Airport for your onward journey.

Best fit: October to March, when the weather in Delhi and Rajasthan is generally more comfortable for monument visits, market walks, and daytime sightseeing.

Also possible: July to September can suit travellers who do not mind humid conditions, occasional rainfall, and fewer peak-season crowds.

Avoid: April to June can be uncomfortable for extensive outdoor sightseeing because of high daytime temperatures, particularly in Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra.

The balance payment must be made 15 days before the start date.

In case of tour/travel services cancellation due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be informed in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

60 days & before arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
59 to 30 days before arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
29 days to 15 days before arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
14 to 08 days before arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
07 days & less before arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
