Itinerary Detail

Day 1:

Arrival in Delhi

Arrive at Delhi Airport, where our tour representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and spend the remaining time relaxing after your journey.

Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the hotel’s surroundings or simply unwind. Dinner and an overnight stay will be arranged in Delhi.

Day 2:

Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour of India’s capital city. Start with the India Gate, the prominent war memorial located in the heart of New Delhi. Continue past the Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan, two significant landmarks of the city’s administrative district.

Later, visit Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, followed by Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. You will also explore Purana Qila, Jantar Mantar, and Raj Ghat.

En route, you can sample Delhi’s popular street food or explore its lively markets. After sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3:

Delhi – Churu

Kickstart your day with breakfast, check out of the hotel, and drive to Churu, a historic town in Rajasthan’s Shekhawati region.

Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, explore Churu’s painted havelis and traditional frescoes, which reflect the wealth and artistic heritage of the former merchant families of Shekhawati.

Walk through the old neighbourhoods and observe the town’s traditional architecture before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Churu.

Day 4:

Churu – Khimsar

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Khimsar, a historic settlement on the edge of the Thar Desert.

On arrival, check in at the Khimsar Fort or a similar heritage property. After lunch and some rest, visit a nearby blackbuck reserve, where you may see the distinctive Indian antelope in its natural surroundings.

Later, explore the desert landscape and enjoy an exciting safari around the dunes, subject to local conditions and availability. Return to the heritage property for dinner and an overnight stay in Khimsar.

Day 5:

Khimsar – Luni

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and beginning your drive to Luni, a peaceful village situated near Jodhpur.

Upon arrival, check in at Fort Chanwa or a similar heritage accommodation known for its traditional Rajput architecture. Spend the afternoon exploring the village, meeting residents, and learning about the customs and everyday life of rural Rajasthan.

You may also sample regional cuisine or take a walk through the surrounding area. Return to the heritage property for dinner and an overnight stay in Luni.

Day 6:

Luni – Chanoud

Begin your day with breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Chanoud, a quiet heritage village surrounded by the landscapes of rural Rajasthan.

Upon arrival, check in at Chanoud Garh hotel or a similar heritage property. Spend the day enjoying the ambience of the former royal residence and exploring the village at a relaxed pace.

Subject to availability, you may participate in optional activities such as village walks, countryside drives, cultural interactions, or excursions around the surrounding region. Any optional activity will be payable directly.

Return to your hotel after the day’s experiences for an overnight stay in Chanoud.

Day 7:

Chanoud – Udaipur – Chittorgarh

Fuel up with breakfast, check out from the heritage property and begin your journey towards Chittorgarh. En route, stop in Udaipur for a sightseeing tour.

Visit Saheliyon ki Bari, a historic garden featuring fountains, marble pavilions, and landscaped lawns. Continue to Jagdish Temple, an important Hindu temple known for its detailed carvings and elevated structure.

Later, explore the City Palace complex overlooking Lake Pichola. The palace consists of courtyards, balconies, museums, and former royal chambers.

After sightseeing in Udaipur, continue the drive to Chittorgarh. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Dinner and an overnight stay will be arranged in Chittorgarh.

Day 8:

Chittorgarh – Bundi

Commence your day with breakfast, then explore Chittorgarh’s historic fort complex, famous for its palaces, temples, towers, reservoirs, and stories of Rajput courage. Later, check out of the hotel and drive to Bundi.

Upon arrival at Bundi, check in at your hotel and relax. Continue with a visit to Taragarh Fort, which overlooks Bundi and the surrounding Aravalli landscape. Explore Bundi Palace, known for its courtyards, murals, and traditional Rajput architecture.

You will also visit Chaurasi Khambon ki Chhatri, the cenotaph supported by 84 pillars, and Raniji ki Baori, one of Bundi’s most impressive stepwells. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bundi.

Day 9:

Bundi – Jaipur

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital and one of the most celebrated heritage cities in India. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax.

Later, visit the City Palace, a sprawling royal complex that blends Rajput and Mughal architectural influences. Continue to Jantar Mantar, the historic astronomical observatory featuring large instruments used to study time and celestial movements.

The evening is free for shopping in Jaipur’s colourful bazaars, where you can browse textiles, jewellery, handicrafts, pottery, and traditional souvenirs. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 10:

Jaipur – Delhi Departure

Begin the final day with an early visit to Amber Fort, the former seat of the Kachwaha rulers. Explore its gateways, courtyards, audience halls, temples, and decorated royal chambers. After the visit, return to the hotel, complete the check-out formalities, and begin your drive to Delhi.

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to the airport, railway station, hotel, or any other agreed location for your onward journey.

Best fit: October to March, when daytime temperatures are generally more comfortable for fort visits, village walks, market exploration, and longer road journeys.

Also possible: July to September can suit travellers who do not mind humidity or occasional rainfall. The countryside around Udaipur, Chittorgarh, and the Aravalli region may appear greener during this period.

Avoid: April to June can be extremely hot, particularly in Churu, Khimsar, Jaipur, and other desert areas, making extended outdoor sightseeing uncomfortable.
