4 Days Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter

• Fly from Sahastradhara Helidrome to Sersi.
• Visit the sacred Triyuginarayan Temple, renowned as the divine wedding venue of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
• Take the shuttle flight from Sersi to Kedarnath for darshan at the Kedarnath Temple.
• Take a scenic chopper ride from Sersi to Badrinath.
• Visit Mana Village, the “Last Village of India” near the India–China border.
• Attend Badrinath Temple Aarti (Swaran/Chandi Aarti is available on a direct-payment basis).

Price Per Person

Maha Abhishek Puja at Badrinath

• Payment must be made in cash to the IHPL representative at Dehradun to enable advance booking.
• This puja amount is not included in the package cost/billing, as it is paid directly to the Badrinath Mandir Samiti.

Rudra Abhishek Puja at Kedarnath

• Payment must be made in cash to the IHPL representative at Dehradun to enable advance booking.
• The arrangement is subject to room availability at Kedarnath-top, as passengers must stay overnight for this puja.
• Any additional hotel stay cost at Kedarnath-Top will be extra chargeable.
• This puja amount is not included in the package cost/billing, as it is paid directly to the Kedarnath Mandir Samiti.

Disclaimer (Kedarnath-top stay): Accommodation at Kedarnath-top is budget, and service/room quality may be basic. In Sep/Oct, night temperatures may drop below zero—guests should decide accordingly.

Terms, Conditions and Guidelines

1) Fixed Flight Timings

• This is a daily fixed-departure helicopter tour with scheduled ETDs. Guests must report to the helipads as per the timings; otherwise, they may be treated as no-shows.
• IHPL reserves the right to change/postpone flight timings due to weather/force majeure.

2) COVID Travel Guidelines

• Passengers must follow government-mandated COVID protocols. Non-compliance may lead to denied boarding without a refund.

3) Helicopter Weight Limitations

• Maximum weight carrying capacity: 450 kg (excluding baggage).
• Boarding depends on load and temperature conditions; the pilot’s decision is final.
• Guests must provide accurate weights at the time of booking.

4) Passenger Weight Accuracy

• If the actual weight differs and exceeds the aircraft’s permissible capacity, passenger(s) may be disembarked and cancelled without a refund.

5) Overweight Charges (Per Seat Basis)

• Overweight charge: ₹2,500 per kg for passengers above 75 kg.
• Excess weight is calculated on the combined group excess above permissible weight: 75 kg × number of passengers.
• Any payable overweight amount will be collected before boarding.

6) Incorrect Weight Penalty

• If a discrepancy is found at weighing, a penalty of ₹20,000 will be imposed in addition to overweight charges (subject to aircraft capacity).
• Submit weight on the higher side, considering clothes and shoes.

7) Baggage Allowance

• Only one bag up to 5 kg per passenger is permitted.
• Suitcases and hard luggage are not allowed in the helicopter.
• IHPL may shuffle passengers between helicopters for safe weight balance; passengers travelling together may not fly in the same aircraft.

8) Seating Capacity

• Helicopter seating capacity: 6 passengers + 1 crew.

9) Infants

• Infants under 2 years old or weighing 12 kg travel free of charge, subject to ID proof/birth certificate verification.

10) Itinerary Interchangeability & Buffer Day

• Dham may be covered interchangeably due to weather/force majeure.
• Guests are strongly advised to keep one extra day in Dehradun as a buffer.

11) Add-on Services Confirmation

• Any add-on service (Maha Abhishek, Rudra Abhishek, etc.) must be confirmed at the time of booking. Puja payments are collected in Dehradun for advance arrangements.
Bad Weather & Force Majeure Disclaimers
• Hill flying is subject to weather and operational factors (clearances, NOTAMs, VVIP movement, technical snags, crew issues, late reporting, etc.). Delays/cancellations may occur.
• IHPL is not liable for medical emergencies on the ground; guests should undertake a medical check-up prior to travel.
• Donations, tips, and pithu/porter charges are borne by guests.
• Network connectivity is limited; BSNL/Jio generally works best but is not guaranteed.
• Carry personal medicines and heavy woollens; temperatures can drop sharply at night.

Kedarnath Bad Weather Disclaimer

• Helicopter flying disruptions at Kedarnath are common; passengers may be stranded and may need to stay overnight at Kedarnath-top.
• IHPL will try to arrange rooms subject to availability; accommodation charges are payable directly by guests.
• No refund is applicable for the pre-booked Sersi stay if guests are stranded at Kedarnath.
• Kedarnath’s top accommodation can be very basic, and prices may be high due to demand; guests should be prepared.

Legal & Other Important Clauses

• The Carriage by Air Act, 1972, applies to the carriage of helicopters and the liability terms.
• No aerial photography: aerial photography from the helicopter is illegal, and photography at helipads is prohibited.
• Jurisdiction: disputes are subject to Delhi jurisdiction.

Payment Terms

• 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
• Full payment due 35 days prior to travel date.

Rescheduling

• Allowed subject to availability with a 10% rescheduling fee, only if informed 35 days before arrival.
• Requests within 35 days will be treated as cancellations; a fresh booking applies (subject to availability).
Cancellation/Refund Policy
• More than 35 days before departure: 35% of the total tour cost.
• 15–35 days before departure: 60% of the total tour cost.
• 14–8 days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost.
• Up to 7 days before departure: No refund.
• No-show: No refund.
• Bad weather: proportionate refund for unutilised sectors minus ₹40,000 towards flight preparation and ground arrangement charges.
COVID-19/National or State Emergency
• No refunds if passengers test COVID-positive pre-travel, or if the yatra is called off by the Government or an emergency is imposed.
• A credit voucher against the advance paid will be issued (valid for 1 year) and usable for IHPL helicopter tours/charters by passengers or their friends/relatives.
Bad Weather & Force Majeure Policies
• No compensation/reimbursement for accommodation, transport, meals, or other expenses due to cancellations beyond the operator’s control.
• If the tour cannot depart from Dehradun on schedule, IHPL will propose a revised itinerary within the same package duration.
• If no flying occurs for the entire day, the tour is treated as cancelled and a refund is issued in accordance with policy.
• A fresh booking can be made for the next available date; any unutilised amount may be adjusted, and any difference is payable by the guests.
• Backlog passengers are secondary to newly scheduled departures for that date.
• Additional nights due to disruptions are payable by guests directly to hotels.
• Emergency ferry flights, if required, will be charged at ₹1,60,000 per hour + GST.
Additional Charges 
• Any increase in government levies/taxes or temple authority charges after booking confirmation will be charged as an extra and must be paid before the tour starts.
• Single occupancy room (if required): ₹40,000 per person (tax inclusive).
• Hotels at the Dhams are non-star category and selected for comfort and ratings within the region.
Special Note:
• All taxes, entry fees, airfare, and hotel/transport rates are applicable as of the date of quotation. Any future increase will incur an extra charge.
• The above rates are valid only for the dates mentioned in the proposal.
• This is a quotation only, and no booking is being held at this stage. Confirmation is subject to availability and will be processed only after we receive the guest details and the booking confirmation/guarantee.
