Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, our representative will welcome you with a traditional greeting and escort you to your hotel. After checking in and refreshing, begin exploring the historic port city of Cochin. Visit Fort Kochi with its European colonial influences, the ornate Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) with its remarkable mythological murals, the 16th-century Jewish Synagogue in the heart of Jew Town, and the impressive Santa Cruz Basilica. Continue to St. Francis Church, India’s oldest European church where Vasco da Gama was originally buried.

As the afternoon wanes, experience one of Kerala’s most romantic sights—the iconic Chinese fishing nets silhouetted against the sunset over the Arabian Sea. Begin with a leisurely morning on Kovalam Beach before embarking on a day trip to Kanyakumari (Cape Comorin), the southernmost tip of mainland India where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean meet. Visit the ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Kumari (the virgin goddess) and witness the unique phenomenon of being able to see both sunrise and sunset over the ocean from the same spot.

Visit the impressive Padmanabhapuram Palace, a magnificent wooden palace dating from the 16th century with remarkable architecture and interiors. If time permits, take the short ferry ride to Vivekananda Rock Memorial, situated on a small rocky island offshore where Swami Vivekananda meditated.
