I was looking for a short trip for my honeymoon in the lap of mighty Kanchenjunga and thus, I considered Darjeeling. The queen of hill offers spectacular views of mountain and waterfalls. Going around, my wife and me witnessed the beauty of lush green tea gardens. In Darjeeling, I stayed at one of the luxury resorts near tea gardens. Nearby bungalows are popularly known as tea bungalows.

I recently had my bike trip in Gangtok and it was out of this world. Silk Route was icing of the cake, those curvy and narrow roads made my day. I loved every bit of it, its food, culture, architecture, monasteries and people around the capital.
