When did Rancho School come into the limelight?
Druk Padma Karpo School is one of the top institutions in Ladakh. The wall where the scene was shot on the campus was featured in the movie’s last scenes. “Chatur” was the character’s name who tries to urinate at the wall in the scene but gets an electric shock from two kids with a wire and a bulb from the 1st floor. You can witness the Rancho Wall decorated with graffiti displaying the electrocution of Chatur. Tourists visiting here click pictures in front of the wall and pose like they’re peeing, similar to the movie.
