The Indian Plastics Industry is expanding at a phenomenal pace. The current per-capita consumption is 8 lbs and is predicted to rise to 22 lbs. This edition of International Plastics Exhibition and Conference India will be held in Gujarat from February 5th – 10th, 2026. Gandhinagar in Gujarat will be the venue for Plast India 2026. Space allotted to domestic exhibitor section is fully booked. From past many years, the event was being organized at Pragati Maidan in Delhi and has been shifted to a new exhibition center in Gujarat state this year.

Some of the overseas partners and Indian exhibitors were worried about the Gujarat site. Oza said that the Foundation plans to make an official announcement in the first year. The Plast India show has marketing and support alliances with Messe Dusseldorf, the organizer of the K fair, the world’s largest plastic show, and Hong Kong-based Adsale Group, the organizer of the Chinaplas, the second largest.

The venue has seen the exhibition’s rise from a local event to among the world’s three leading exhibitions for the plastic industry. The PlastIndia exhibitions- a triennial affair- were launched at Pragati Maidan in 1990, as an effort to showcase the capabilities of the growing Indian plastics industry to an international audience. Over the last 25 years, the event is continuously being hosted at Pragati Maidan, and has developed into a meeting point for the industry. This year the venue has been shifted to Gandhinagar, the capital of the state, known for its booming industrial sector.
