One of the most famous amusement parks in Mumbai, Essel World, is in Gorai. This is also the most significant amusement and water park in India. Spread over 64 acres of land, Essel World hosts about 1.8 million visitors annually. Inside the park are 15 children’s rides, 14 family rides, and 11 adventurous rides. An ice skating rink is also one of the highlights of Essel World; this sprawls over 3400 sq ft and is Mumbai’s first ice skating rink. In addition, the glass dance floor inside the park enables visitors to enjoy colored lights and groovy music.

The park also has a six-lane bowling alley, known as “Riki’s Rocking Alley,” and different food joints. For people who love it, there is a Monster in the Mist ride, a horror ride that runs for four minutes in the dense, dark Iofa tunnel filled with many adventures.

Gorai Island is home to Essel World. Additionally, you can travel there via road, train, and ferry. The closest local station to Essel World is Borivali. Mumbai is noted for its extensive network of local trains that are distributed around the city. To go to Gorai Creek and then take the ferry to Essel World, take a bus, a cab, or an automobile. Other ferries run from Marve to Essel World.
