  • Photography is generally allowed around most monuments but restricted inside many places of worship. Drones require prior approval from Indian authorities and are restricted near many heritage and sensitive areas, especially around Delhi and monuments.
  • No alcohol is allowed inside the Golden Temple and other religious sites. You cannot carry tobacco or electronic cigarettes either.
  • Dress modestly, especially at religious sites. You must cover your shoulders and knees before entering the premises. This applies to both men and women. Public displays of affection are uncommon and may draw unwelcome attention, particularly near temples, forts, and smaller towns.
  • If you are bringing satellite phones or other navigation devices, note that prior authority clearance is needed to carry them around heritage sites, palaces, and the Golden Temple.
  • Jaipur, Agra, Delhi, and Amritsar are warm places. You can pack cotton clothes, dresses, sunhats, sunglasses, sunscreens, along with a light jacket for the night. Bring along a powerbank for quick charge, any medications you use, and motion-sickness prescriptions if you are prone to discomfort during long journeys.
  • Traffic is unpredictable across the cities. Have an open mind while our drivers navigate the fastest and safest routes to take you to your travel destination.
  • In the cities, you can pay through UPI, credit and debit cards. However, in the local markets, certain tourist spot ticket counters, and remote places, it’s better to have money in small denominations. Temple/Dargah offerings are usually done in cash or UPI transfer to the shrine administrators.
  • Please be conscious of respecting queues, photography rules, and local customs during ceremonies like the Wagah Border.
