Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival at Mount Abu
Upon arrival at Abu Road Railway station, meet our tour representative who will help you with guided transfer to the pre-decided hotel. Once you reach there, complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while. You are free to experience the best sights and sounds of Mount Abu in the evening.
Fondly considered as the ‘Oasis of the desert’, Mount Abu is home to lakes, rivers, waterfalls, etc. The only hill station in Rajasthan offers desired respite from the scorching heat of the desert state. Spiritual charm and natural beauty of the place makes it the center of attraction amongst the tourists from all over the world.
An overnight stay is planned at the hotel.
Day 2: Mount Abu sightseeing tour
Start the day with a hearty breakfast. Post this, visit the Guru Shikhar, the highest point in Mount Abu. Breathtaking views from here are sure to spellbind you. The temple of Guru Dattatreya on the peak is dedicated to Dattatreya who is believed to be the incarnation of Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Mahesh.
After enjoying the panoramic views, you will be taken to the popular Dilwara Jain Temples. Dating back to the 11th and 13th century, the temples showcase a brilliant use of marble in their architecture. Other important highlights of the temples are flawless stone laying technique and the ornamental carvings making it one of the beautiful Jain pilgrimage sites.
The evening is reserved to enjoy boating on the Nakki Lake. The lake is considered as one of the ancient and sacred lakes and serves as a great picnic spot. Thereafter, you will stroll through the local markets to reach the Sunset Point which will render you speechless with amazing sunset views.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure from Mount Abu
On the last day of the tour, relish healthy breakfast and checkout from the hotel. From there, you will be transferred to the Abu Road Railway Station to catch the train towards your onward destination.
