This 8-day Kedarnath–Badrinath Yatra begins from Delhi to Haridwar, where you can visit key temples and witness the Ganga Aarti. The tour will take you to Guptkashi for darshan at the Ardh Narishwar Temple, and trek to Kedarnath for temple darshan. Travel onwards to Badrinath via Chopta Valley, covering Nandprayag and Vishnuprayag en route. Further, take a holy bath at Tapt Kund, attend the evening aarti, and explore Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Bhim Pul. Conclude your trip with a visit to Dharidevi Temple, the Devprayag confluence, and Rishikesh for sightseeing.

Itinerary Detail

Day 1:

Delhi – Haridwar (230 km/6–7 hours)

Arrive at Delhi Airport/Delhi Railway Station. Meet our representative, who’ll then proceed towards Haridwar and transfer to the hotel. If time permits, visit Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, and Daksha Mahadev Temple. Later, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the famous Ganga Aarti and floating diyas on the river. Further, return to the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 2:

Haridwar – Guptkashi (210 km/7–8 hours)

This morning, after breakfast, complete the check-out formalities and head straight to Guptkashi. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple. Further, have dinner and stay overnight in Guptkashi.

Day 3:

Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 km by road + 19 km trek)

After a medical check-up, proceed to Sonprayag and begin the trek to Kedarnath (3,584 m). You may trek on foot or hire a pony/doli on a direct-payment basis. Carry personal medicines, heavy woollens, toiletries, and clothes for the overnight halt. Upon reaching, visit Kedarnath Temple. Further, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4:

Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi (19 km down trek + 30 km/1 hour)

Wake up before dawn and reach the temple for the early-morning Abhishek and darshan (around 4:45 AM). After darshan, begin the trek down to Sonprayag. Meet the driver and proceed to Guptkashi. On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest. Further, have dinner and stay overnight in Guptkashi.

Day 5:

Guptkashi – Badrinath (215 km/7 hours)

Post breakfast, drive to Badrinath via Chopta Valley, covering Nandprayag and Vishnuprayag en route. On arrival, check in at the hotel. If time permits, attend the evening aarti at Badrivishal Temple. Further, have dinner and stay overnight in Badrinath.

Day 6:

Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (160 km/7 hours)

Begin your day with a holy bath at Tapt Kund, followed by Badrivishal darshan. Further, visit nearby attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Charanpaduka, Bhim Pul, Bhimkund, and the Saraswati “Mukh” (time permitting). Later, drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath (with Narsingh Temple sighting on the way). As per the programme and feasibility, visit Yog Dhyan Badri (Pandukeshwar) and Karnprayag en route. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Further, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7:

Rudraprayag – Dharidevi – Devprayag – Rishikesh (160 km/5 hours)

Wake up, have breakfast, check out, and proceed towards Rishikesh. En route, visit Dharidevi Temple. Continue to Devprayag to witness the confluence that forms the holy River Ganga and visit Raghunath Temple. Further, on reaching Rishikesh, proceed for sightseeing (subject to time), covering Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, and Shivananda Ashram. Further, have dinner and stay overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 8:

Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi (250 km/7–8 hours)

This is the last day of your trip. Wake up, have breakfast, check out, and proceed towards Delhi. On arrival, transfer to Delhi Railway Station/Airport for your onward journey.
