  • Arrive at Dehradun Airport/Railway Station, where our tour representative will meet you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel.
  • Complete the check-in formalities and freshen up.

Overnight: Dehradun

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Mussoorie.

Best fit: March to June and October to November, when Dehradun, Mussoorie and Nainital offer comfortable conditions for sightseeing, viewpoints, lake activities and outdoor walks.

Also possible: December to February works well for travellers who enjoy colder hill weather. Mussoorie and Nainital can become quite chilly, so warm clothing is recommended.

Avoid: July to August, when the region receives monsoon rainfall. Hill roads may be affected by rain, mist or occasional landslides.

  • The Mussoorie–Nainital journey is the longest transfer of this itinerary, covering approximately 310 km, so Day 3 involves considerable road travel.
  • Travel time on hill roads can vary depending on traffic, weather and road conditions.
