Best fit: March to June and October to November offer comfortable conditions for hill sightseeing, forest stays, viewpoints and road travel across Rishikesh, Lansdowne, Kausani, Binsar and Nainital.

Also possible: December to February works well for travellers comfortable with colder hill weather, while Corbett is also well suited to wildlife-focused travel during this period.

Avoid: July to August is the least suitable period for this complete road circuit because heavy monsoon rain can affect hill roads, outdoor sightseeing and travel time.

  • Mountain-road travel times may vary depending on traffic, weather and local road conditions.
  • Corbett Jeep Safaris are subject to permits, zone availability, weather and forest-department regulations.
  • Some major Corbett zones operate seasonally, while selected zones remain accessible year-round.
  • Weather can change quickly in Kausani, Binsar and Nainital, so carrying an extra warm layer is advisable.
  • Sightseeing points, tea estates, wildlife areas and viewpoints may have specific entry timings.
  • Certain sections of Mall Road and other local areas may need to be explored on foot or using authorised local transport.
