This 4-day Badrinath Yatra begins with a drive from Haridwar to Joshimath, passing the confluences along the way. In Joshimath, visit Narsingh Temple and the Shankaracharya Math when travelling to Badrinath via Vishnuprayag. Further, take darshan at the Badrinath Temple, bathe at Tapt Kund, attend the evening aarti, and explore Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Bhim Pul. Return via Rudraprayag and Devprayag, stopping at Dharidevi Temple. This package covers sightseeing, stays, and meals.

Itinerary Detail

Day 1:

Haridwar – Joshimath (275 km/9 hours)

Morning pick-up from Haridwar Railway Station and proceed toward Joshimath. En route, visit the sacred confluences (Prayags) along the Alaknanda route, including Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag, and Nandprayag (stop timings subject to road and traffic conditions). On arrival in Joshimath, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest and acclimatise. Further, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2:

Joshimath – Vishnuprayag – Badrinath (44 km/3 hours)

In the morning, visit Narsingh Temple and Shankaracharya Math in Joshimath. Later, drive to Badrinath via Vishnuprayag. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, proceed to Badrinath Temple darshan. You can take a bath in the Tapt Kund before entering the shrine.

Further, visit Brahma Kapal, known for ancestral rituals, and explore nearby attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Bhim Pul, Charanpaduka, and other local points (time permitting). In the evening, attend the aarti at Badrinath Temple and return to the hotel. You will be staying in Badrinath tonight.

Day 3:

Badrinath – Rudraprayag (165 km/6 hours)

Begin your day with a visit to Badrinath Temple again and complete any remaining local sightseeing (as per time and access). Later, drive back to Rudraprayag and check in at the hotel on arrival. The remainder of the day is at leisure. You will be staying in Rudraprayag tonight.

Day 4:

Rudraprayag – Devprayag – Haridwar (160 km/5 hours)

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Rishikesh. En route, visit Dharidevi Temple. Continue to Devprayag to witness the confluence that forms the holy River Ganga and visit Raghunath Temple.

Further, upon reaching Rishikesh, proceed for sightseeing (subject to time). Begin with a visit to Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, and Shivananda Ashram. Later, you will be dropped off at Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station for your onward journey.
