This 4-day Kedarnath Yatra begins with a drive from Haridwar/Dehradun to Guptkashi, with stops at the Vishwanath and Ardhnareshwar temples along the way. Further, proceed to Sonprayag to complete biometric formalities and start the trek to Kedarnath for darshan at the revered Jyotirlinga shrine. Conclude the tour with a drive to Rishikesh to visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, followed by a drop at Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport. This package covers sightseeing, stays, and meals.

Itinerary Detail

Day 1:

Haridwar/Dehradun – Guptkashi (205 km/7–8 hours)

On arrival at Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun (as per your arrival point), proceed by road to Guptkashi. Upon reaching, check in at the hotel/camp. The rest of the day is free. If time permits, visit the Vishwanath Temple and the Ardhnareshwar (Ardh Narishwar) Temple. Further, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2:

Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 km by road + 19 km trek)

Start early and drive to Sonprayag. Complete biometric formalities before beginning the trek to Kedarnath. Pony/palki services can be hired on a direct payment basis. Carry personal medicines, heavy woollens, toiletries, and clothes for the overnight halt. On reaching Kedarnath, proceed for Kedarnath Temple darshan (puja can be booked online or at the temple counter, subject to availability). An overnight stay will be arranged at a basic guesthouse within walking distance of the temple.

Day 3:

Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi (19 km down trek + 30 km/1 hour)

Wake up before dawn and reach the temple for the early-morning abhishekam and darshan (around 4:00 AM). After darshan, return to the guesthouse, collect your luggage and begin the trek down to Sonprayag. Meet the driver and proceed to Guptkashi. On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest. Further, have dinner and stay overnight in Guptkashi.

Day 4:

Guptkashi – Rishikesh – Haridwar/Dehradun Drop (220 km/8 hours)

This is the last day of your trip. Wake up, have breakfast, check out, and begin your drive to Rishikesh. On arrival, visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Later, proceed to Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport for your onward journey.
