Ram Tekri in Bilaspur has derived its name from the Ram-Janaki mandir with its splendid granite statues of Lord Ram, Sita and Lord Hanuman. Maratha king Shivaji Rao Bhonsle was the one who built this temple. It has immense historical as well as archaeological importance.

This marvelous temple is perched on a hill and is surrounded from all the sides by lush greenery. It is just at a distance of 3 km from Ratanpur and can be reached as the road is motorable but a bit steep as well that makes the journey quite exciting. Many other statues of the Hindu deities can also be seen Lord Vishnu and Kaal Bhairav. One can enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings from the temple including the Ratanpur Township. The architecture of the temple is quite impressive and makes for some lovely snapshots.
