Reis Magos Church, Goa is set within the boundaries of a fort. Constructed in 1555, this church was managed and maintained by the Franciscans. It was consecrated to St. Jerome. With passing time, the Reis Magos Church in Goa became the learning center for priests. In fact several viceroys made it their regular haunt. As per the look of the Reis Magos Church Goa is concerned it can be said that the façade of this church has splendid Portuguese coat of arms imprinted on it. Besides, it boasts of very colorful and attractive interiors. The highlight of its fabulous interiors is multi-colored wood relief that shows the Three Wise Men (Reis Magos) giving gifts to the baby Jesus. In this church near the foot of the stairs a small shrine can also be located. It is dedicated to Our Lady of Hope. This apart, within the church premises to the right of the altar grave of Viceroy Dom Luis da Alameida can also be spotted. Every year on January 6 the Reis Magos Church, Goa comes alive with the celebration of Feast of Reis Magos or the Feast of the three Kings. On this day big procession is carried out by the local people.

Reis Magos Church, Goa is located on Aguada beach. This beach is 4 km from Sinquerim beach. If you are coming from Panaji then bus services can be availed to reach. This apart, taxi or motorbike can also be taken on rent to arrive here.
