How to Reach Yamunotri Dham

Yamunotri is situated in Uttarakhand in the western region of Garhwal Himalayas.

By Air - The nearest airport is Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun, 88 Km away from Yamunotri.

By Train - The nearest railway station is at Haridwar, 122 km away from Yamunotri. One can get a bus or hire a taxi from the station to the Yamunotri.

By Road - You can reach Yamunotri by road as well. You need to drive to Barkot from Dehradun or Haridwar that is 176 km. There is a place near Yamunotri called Jankichatti from where you need to trek 5 km or you can travel on horseback to reach Yamunotri Temple. Buses and Private cabs are easily available from Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Dehradun.

By Helicopter - You can also visit the Yamunotri Dham by chopper and you can board a helicopter from Dehradun airport. 

From Delhi - You can take road transport up to Rishikesh & Haridwar, and then drive to Barkot to Yamunotri.
