Itinerary Detail

Day 1:

Arrival in Haridwar – Uttarkashi

Your Gangotri, Badrinath, and Kedarnath Yatra begins upon your arrival in Haridwar, where you will be greeted by our IHPL representative. From there, you will proceed directly to Uttarkashi and check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the enchanting Vishwanath Temple. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2:

Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

After a hearty breakfast, drive to Gangotri. On arrival, take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges (Bhagirathi) at its origin. Visit the revered Gangotri Temple, located near the sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. This temple marks the spot where the Ganges is believed to have touched the Earth. After performing puja, return to Uttarkashi in the late afternoon. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 3:

Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Post breakfast, check out from your hotel and travel to Guptkashi by road. One of India’s ancient towns, Guptkashi, is mentioned in the Mahabharata and holds spiritual significance akin to Kashi. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the town at your leisure. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4:

Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Sonprayag, the base camp for the Kedarnath trek. Cover 20 km to Kedarnath on horseback or by doli. On arrival, check in at the government camps/lodges. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5:

Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi / Rudraprayag

Begin your day before dawn with a bath and proceed to Kedarnath Temple by 4:45 AM to witness the sacred “Abhishek” ceremony. After darshan and puja, return to your lodge to rest. Later, trek back 20 km to Sonprayag, where vehicles will transport you back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel follow.

Day 6:

Guptkashi / Rudraprayag – Joshimath – Badrinath

After breakfast, check out at 8:00 AM and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, enjoying the breathtaking views along the Ghat road. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Badrinath Temple for darshan. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7:

Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag / Srinagar

Start your morning with a darshan at Badrinath Temple. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then explore nearby spiritual sites including Vyas Gufa, Mana Village, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple. In the afternoon, drive to Rudraprayag via Karnaprayag. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8:

Rudraprayag / Srinagar – Rishikesh – Haridwar

After breakfast, drive downhill to Rishikesh, a sacred town known for its spiritual aura, temples, ghats, and the gushing Ganges. Explore Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and other spiritual sites. Later, continue your journey to Haridwar and drop off at Haridwar Railway Station.
