Poush Mela Santiniketan is a colorful rural carnival. It is one of the important festivals in Birbhum of the West Bengal district. The festival is celebrated at the Santiniketan Mela Grounds with great excitement and the essence of Bengali culture. The mela is the perfect site for the coming together of different cultures and traditions from different parts of the country.

Santiniketan Poush Mela started as a small Tagore family affair along with a handful of Brahmo Samaj followers at Santiniketan. Today, it is one of the international events which Bengal is identified for.
