This twin island beach is connected by a sandbar. From afar, it looks like two bushy chunks surrounded by sparkling blue water, are holding hands through a stretch of white sands. These two islands stand in seclusion from city life. The tropical forests in these islands makes home for an expansive wildlife. Just near the beach is the turtle nesting point and marine sanctuary; must visit spots.
You would need to seek permissions from Forest Office in Diglipur for entering these islands. The cost for the same is Rs 50 for Indians and Rs 500 for foreigners. Timings of the permission activities are from 6 am to 2 pm.
