Gokarna Beach

Gokarna Beach in Karnataka is one of the popular beaches of Karnataka where tourists spend days enjoying the scenic beauty of the surroundings, the long stretches of golden beaches and the cool sea breeze. Situated about 56 kms south west to Karwar, Gokarna is a holy place of the Hindus. According to the Puranas, one gets liberated of sins when one visits Gokarna.

Gokarna Beach Resort Karnataka has four secluded beaches. Visitors looking for solitude frequent these beaches. A half an hour walk down south of Gokarna will bring you across the sprawling beaches. The first of the Gokarna Beaches in Karnataka is the Kudle Beach about 20 minutes walk from Gokarna. The path south to the Ganapati Temple will lead you to the Kudle Beach, a beautiful and long stretching white sand beach infringed with swaying palm trees. The beach has huts and eating places.

If you walk 30 minutes down south, you can visit the famous OM beach of Gokarna. Shaped according to the auspicious Hindu sign, Om beach is best to visit on weekdays. Isolated and beautiful, tourists laze around, enjoying the wide expanse of the beach and swim in the cool sea water.

The other two Gokarna Beaches in Karnataka are the Half-moon and Paradise beaches. Tourists enjoy these secluded beaches. Packaged water and food are available in all the Beaches of Gokarna in Karnataka.
