Located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, Sawai Madhopur was built as a planned city by Maharaja Sawai Madhopur I of Jaipur in the 18th century. The town is quite famous for its guavas, which are also known as ‘Madhopur Guavas’ in Rajasthan.
