Swami Pushkarini Lake in Chittoor

Set within the boundaries of the Thirumala Temple, Pushkarini Lake is a well-known sacred lake. According to the history, Lord Vishnu took a long bath with his wife Lakshmi Devi. Since then, the lake is believed to have holy water.
