Covering over a kilometre, Lady Hydari Park in Shillong is a well-manicured lush garden consisting of a mini zoo. This zoo is home to around 140 reptile species, 73 avifauna species, and other mammals such as deer and serow. The other animals and birds spotted here include Leopard, Jackal, Porcupine, Himalayan black bear, Kite, Hornbill, and Mynah.

The park, named after the wife of the Governor of Assam, Lady Hydari, is a serene oasis in the heart of Shillong.
