Kanyakumari or ‘Cape Comorin’ is an important Hindu pilgrim center located at the southernmost tip of India, at the confluence of the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. Spread over an area of 1672 sq. km, Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu is renowned for its spectacular beach and glorious sunrise and sunset.

By Air

The nearest airport to Kanyakumari is at Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) which is about 80 km away. The airport is equipped with both domestic and international terminals. Regular flights connect Trivandrum airport with major cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, and Chennai.
