Set at an altitude of 3858 meter, Valley of Flowers is perched just below the majestic peaks of the Himalayas. The trek offers a spectacular view of wild flowers, butterflies, colorful birds and exotic fauna species like Bharal, Musk Deer, Brown Bear and Himalayan Black Bear. This trek is a must for all the nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. The valley has millions of species of wild flowers like saxifrags, sediams, lilies, poppy, calendular, daisies, geranium, zinnia, petunia and more. The valley also features some beautiful streams which add to its natural beauty. Because of the rich bio diversity of the place, one also gets to spot different species of butterflies and insects.

Valley of flowers Trekking Itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar – Govindghat
On your arrival at Haridwar, meet our tour representative and get transferred to Govindghat. Overnight stay at Govindgaht.
Day 2: Govindghat – Ghangria (13 km / 7 hours)
Today, from Govindghat you indulge in a 13 km trek to Ghangria, which takes 7 hours to complete. Night stay is scheduled at Ghangria.
Day 3: Ghangria - Valley of flowers – Ghangria
On the third day of your Valley of Flowers trek tour, continue your trek from Ghangria to Valley of Flowers. Enjoy the winsome scenic beauty and serenity of the place. Now trek back to Ghangria. Overnight stay at Ghangria.
Day 4: Ghangria – Hemkund – Ghangria
Today, from Ghangria, you trek to the holy site of Hemkund. Offer sincere prayers and get the blessings of the almighty. Done with darshans and poojas, trek back to Ghangria. Home stay at Ghangria.
Day 5: Ghangria – Govindghat
On the fifth day, continue your return trek from Ghangria to Govindghat. Night stay at Govindghat.
You may also opt to visit Badrinath (two and a half hours drive from Govindghat), Joshimath or Auli (2 hours’ drive from Govindghat).
Day 6: Haridwar – Delhi Railway Station
On the sixth and last day, from Govindghat straight away drive to Haridwar. On reaching Haridwar, take night train to Delhi for your onward journey.
