Once at Rishikesh, private cabs are available directly to Auli (8-9 hours). Shared taxis are available only till Joshimath, and from there, you can take a cable car to Auli.
• By Flight – Flights are available from Delhi to Dehradun. Further, you have to hire a cab or bus to Joshimath.
• By Train – Trains can be booked till Haridwar railway station (273 km away). Cabs or buses can be hired from there.

How to Reach Uttarakhand from Mumbai

• By Flight – Direct and indirect trains from Mumbai to Dehradun (Jolly Grant Airport) are available. From there, buses or cabs can be hired to your desired destination.
• By Train – You can take a Haridwar Express or Dehradun Express directly from Mumbai to Haridwar from Bandra Terminus to reach Uttarakhand.

How to Reach Uttarakhand from Chennai

• By Flight – Many airlines like SpiceJet, Vistara, and Air India offer direct and indirect flights between Chennai and Dehradun. 
• By Train – Unfortunately, no trains are connected directly from Chennai to Uttarakhand. However, you can take a train from Chennai Central to Dehradun via Hazrat Nizamuddin. The journey will take you approx. 40 hours
