Located at a distance of 42 kilometers from Jaipur and 243 kilometers from Delhi, amidst the barren hills of the Aravallis, Samode is a historical town in the Shekhawati region. The town is famous for its painted Havelis located in and around
the place. Besides havelis, there are several mansions and other buildings in the town. There is a 400 year old hotel, which is now converted into the heritage hotel and now run by the Samode family. The Samode Bagh is a garden located around 3 kilometers from the palace and another popular tourist spot.
