Jungle Safaris – Explore Wildlife Closely
You undertake a Jungle safari to explore wildlife closely when you drive through the interiors of a jungle in a jeep or a motor coach. These jungle safari tours can also be undertaken on an elephant or horseback. In other words, you follow the forest track to catch a glimpse of the animals and how they lead their lives. National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries are the main areas where these trips are undertaken.
Rajasthan is one of the main states in India where wildlife travel packages are easily available. Jungle safaris in Uttarakhand are popular too.
Jim Corbett National Park, Kaziranga National Park, and Ranthambhore National Park are 3 popular destinations for Indian jungle safaris.
Ranthambhore National Park
The best time to visit Ranthambhore National Park is during the months of October to June. This National Park is spread over an area of 392 sq km between Vindya ranges and Aravalli. It earned the status of a National Park in 1981 and that of a Tiger Reserve in 1973. Animals you can spot here include sloth, jungle cats, porcupine, leopard, wild boar, and various other species of animals. More Information
Jim Corbett National Park

If you want to set off for these safaris, you cannot do so at your own will. This is because there are several restrictions that are imposed on visitors by the government. This is done mainly for the protection of the animals. So, the best way to tour these wildlife hubs is by booking jungle safari tours and travel packages. Safari vacations in India are common and almost all travel agents offer India Safari tours. Jungle safari packages are available. More Information
