The second largest state of India, Madhya Pradesh boasts of being one of the most popular destinations. The state is dotted with some of the most attractive tourist attractions of India. To allure even more tourists from all across the globe, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (MPSTDC) is all set to host the 3rd edition of the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM).
The mart will be organized at the Hotel Lake View Ashok in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 14th to 16th October, 2016. The chief aim of this event is marketing and promotion of Madhya Pradesh in the form of a year round holiday destination. The main emphasis is going to be on increasing domestic as well as inbound tourism into the state.
The second largest Indian state has several alluring tourist attractions, from varied UNESCO World Heritage sites to diverse exotic wildlife not less attractive than Africa, from cultural delights to several memorable experiences. The capital city of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal is the 17th largest city in the country, housing several installations and institutions of national significance.
The 3-day event is also going to popularize the varied offerings that the state has to give to the global buyers, coming in from some of the top markets like South East Asia, Europe, South Africa, South America, the United States, Australia, Eastern Asia, Middle East, and Canada. Chief buyers from India are also invited for the event.
The organizers of MPTM are also expecting to get the backing of main travel, hospitality and trade associations of India such as Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI), Association of Domestic Tour Operators Association of India (ADTOI), Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) and so on.
Honorable Chief Minister Sh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be inaugurating the travel mart, along with other special invitees and other dignitaries from Madhya Pradesh as well as other states.
The B2B Exhibition at the event is going to see participation from top players from the state in hotels, wildlife sector, heritage hotels, car rentals, destination management companies, wildlife parks, tour operators and conference venues. After the event FAM Tours for the buyers and the media has also been planned by the MPSTDC.
