The Indian Route Map – Places of various interests

When you are planning a trip to the Indian subcontinent, you would require an India travel guide. This may be a booklet or a guide list, or at best a list of places by popular opinion as to where you can plan a vacation.  The country has extremes of topography. On one region you have the elevated mountains, valleys and plateaus and other end there is the serene seas and lavish beaches. The choice sure becomes a difficult one. For the ones inclined towards religion and spirituality can make holy tours across the country. What you choose is completely your call, but there is something for everyone in India.

Goa is often referred as the Indian edition of the Caribbean. The bright sun, the golden sands, warm and happy people, sea food and the vibrant carnivals are reminiscent of the Caribbean fiesta. In addition, there are the masquerades. Saunter around the beaches, shop from the local markets or relish the cuisine delicacies, there is delight in all. Goa is known for its pristine beaches. They are namely Arambo, Palolem, Colva, Baga , Anjuna, Agonda and Vagator.

From a place of bright masses to one of classical beauty and historical significance is quite a transition. However, if you would want to consider this transition then take a trip to Orissa is a must.  Two facets synonymous to this land are the “Konark Temple” and the Oddissi dance form. In addition, there is the Jagannath Temple. A place apt for a family vacation as well as a religious tour. You will be greeted by the amicable residents. Music, dance, and local festivals are a part of the culture. Many, who visit Orissa, also make it a point to take a pause at Puri, the popular sea destination for most tourists. This is a land of secret retreats and sacred shrines.

When you travel to India you can visit other famous destinations like Rajasthan, Mumbai,   Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Daman and Diu, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Jammu Kashmir, New Delhi, Gujarat and Uttaranchal.

As you search up your India travel guide, you would come across various package deals. They cater to various choices like honeymoon tours, historical tours, cultural and archeological tours and so on.  Religious & pilgrimage tours would take you places like Amarnath Yatra, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and many more. Other India tour packages would include the India train tours. The Golden Chariot and Maharaja Express are popular names in this category.

India travel guide always helps you to have a thorough overview of the cities and their tourist attractions.
