The weather in Kedarnath in January remains the coldest of the year. In January, the tour to Kedarnath is not possible due to the heavy snowfall. Due to heavy snow showers, the roads get blocked till Sonprayag and Gaurikund, from where the trek to Kedarnath starts.

Kedarnath Temperature in February

In this month also, Kedarnath remains covered with snow. The weather remains inhospitable and tough for the visitors. Pilgrims cannot visit the temple to seek blessings as the temple door remains closed. Due to heavy snowfall, the roads to Kedarnath get blocked in the winter season. The average temperature at Kedarnath in February remains -11⁰C to -0.5⁰C.

Kedarnath Temperature in March

The weather in Kedarnath in March remains cold and chilly. The temperature ranges from -8⁰C to 3⁰C in March in Kedarnath. Then, the climatic conditions started to change and days became sunny.
