The Deputy Commissioner of Chamba, DC Rana has said that they are embedding their heart and soul into organizing this 3 days dragon festival in Chamera Lake, Taleru. He added that the paragliding festival will be held in Khajjiar near Dalhousie in October 2021.
Dr Rana shared some more information about the festival and said that the administration has been informed to visit the paragliding sites in Khajjiar, which is delightfully one of the top tourist’s places to visit in Dalhousie.
Disheartened by the lack of tourism in Himachal Pradesh, the Deputy Commissioner said that the objective of organizing dragon and paragliding festivals in Himachal Pradesh is to bring back that lost enthusiasm among those who are connected to the tourism industry in the region.
In response to these initiatives taken by the officials, all those connected to the tourism industry welcomed this idea. They stated that this is very encouraging for the tourism industry and business, which is currently under huge losses due to the COVID pandemic.
