At Surya Mahal, the staff makes sure that with regal ambience, impeccable service and delectable cuisine, all guests can enjoy a gastronomic experience.
With an open area, the guests can choose to have their meal right under the stars, while local musicians perform local music every night in the adjoining outdoor courtyard.
Raj Mahal
The Indian specialty restaurant of Raj Vilas – Raj Mahal offers culinary delights from all regions of the country to its guests. The Rajasthani setting and a truly elegant atmosphere is one of its kind that makes culinary experience at Raj Mahal very fascinating. It is one among none which takes the guest through India’s rich traditions and cultures via food.
The menu includes a variety of authentic dishes not commonly found in most Indian restaurants. The restaurant is home to a Tandoor bar, where the guests participate in making Indian breads and kebabs and experience the delectable process of Indian cooking.
Raj Mahal is open for dinner only (except Tuesdays) for six months a year, starting October and offers alfresco dining in its courtyard as well.
Rajwada Library Bar
Rajwada is the library bar at Oberoi Raj Vilas which serves their guests a good selection of fine wines, liquors and signature cocktails. With an warm setting of the Rajwada Library Bar with rare literature and history books, board games and old manuscripts,the bar is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a drink with history all around.
Twice a week, the Rajwada Library Bar hosts a one hour discussion with an acclaimed local historian about the city of Jaipur and Rajputana for the patrons as well.
