Pushkar has two temples named Raghunath Temples, the older temple that was built in the 1823 being the main one. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. He is worshipped in the form of Lord Rama, who is Lord Vishnu’s incarnation. Lord Rama was the hero of the great Hindu epic, Ramayana.
There are indeed numerous images and idols of other Hindu gods to be found inside the temple, like the Lord Venugopal, Goddess Laxmi and Lord Narsimha. The other Raghunath Temple of Pushkar (newer one) houses the deities of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vaikunthanath. However, this temple is only open for Indians. There are seven other shrines of lord with one shikhara each.
