Summer in Jaisalmer: April to June
Summers in Jaisalmer are usually hot and harsh, and this extreme weather condition is due to its fair proximity with the Thar Desert. Sightseeing and other tourist activities are not favorable, it is better to avoid visiting, around this time. Jaisalmer Packages are not sought during this season. The maximum daytime temperature can rise up till 44 degrees Celsius. In fact, the highest record is 50 degrees.
Monsoon in Jaisalmer: July and September
Jaisalmer witnesses a very less rainfall during the monsoons, sometimes no rainfall at all. The limited showers only help to increase the humidity of the area. Even the rare rains are not able to provide any respite from the high temperatures.
Winter in Jaisalmer: October to March
Winter is the best season to visit Jaisalmer. The days are comfortable while the night time is chilly. The temperature drops down till 7 or 8 degrees Celsius, especially in the month of December and January.
