History of Rambagh Golf Club
The Rambagh Golf Club Jaipur was built in 1944 by Rajmata Gayatri Devi. Then this Rambagh Palace was converted into a heritage hotel.RGC was established as a society in 1972. Greening of the course began in the early 1990s. In 1993, the government allocated Rs. 38.22 lacs to the club for the development of tourism facilities. Shri Yatindra Singh and Lt. General Himmeth Singh played a significant role in converting a golf club into greens. The RGC has evolved over the years, offering Jaipur residents and tourists a peaceful getaway.
