Please note that most of the park remains closed during the monsoons because of the flooding of the riverbeds and roads breaking up.
Jeep Safari Timings for Corbett National Park
There are 2 time bands for wildlife jeep safaris in Corbett – morning and evening. The first, morning safari, begins at 0600 hours and ends at 1100 hours in the morning. The second, evening safari, begins at 1430 hours in afternoon and ends at 1730 hours in the evening. During the intermediate time between the 2 safaris, visitors can either spend in any of the rest houses or just relax on the machan, soaking in nature.
Booking Procedure for Jeep Safaris in Corbett National Park
Bookings are made with the Forest Department, Visitors to the park must know that restrictions on the number of vehicles that enter each zone at a time are strictly followed. Advance booking is available for the morning safaris to Jhirna, Bijrani and Durgadevi zones. All bookings are mode on a first come first serve basis and booking fees is refundable.
Note: For afternoon safaris, bookings are only made 48 hours prior to the safari.
