Please tell the best time to visit Gangtok so that i can get snowfall. How can Gantok be reached from Delhi by train. Please also give all other details regarding Gangtok like budget hotels,sight seeing tours etc. I am a budget traveller.
take a train from NDLS to New jalpaiguri Station. Frm NJP railway station just goto the SNT (sikkim National Terminus ) bus stand, from there you wud get bus directly to sikkim. You can stay in Tadong which may be cheaper but staying at MG road is a delight. You can get cheaper hotels there.
