A splendid creation of yellow sandstone and marble, the Jag Mandir Palace is built on the banks of Lake Pichola in Udaipur. The history of this marvelous structure highlights the kingdom of Mewar under the Sisodia Rajputs. It was believed to be built by the efforts of three Maharanas of the respective Sisodia clan.
