This is a fresh water crocodile also known as Mugger Crocodile, the origin of the word Mugger is obviously from Mugger Fish, famous in India. Outnumbering the counterpart salt water crocodiles, these fresh water creatures can crawl for considerable distances on land. Being equally mobile on land and water these crocodiles are a hot tourist attraction at Sivaram wildlife Sanctuary in Andhra Pradesh.
