Tourist places in and Around Kufri
Around 13 km from Shimla, Kufri Zoo is home to various rare special of animals and birds such as Felines, Antelopes, and Himalayan Monal. In the winter season, the pathway amid the potato plantation gets covered with snow and becomes a skiing track.
Located at an altitude of 2509 m above the sea level, at a distance of around of 6 km from Kufri, Fagu lies amid two valleys, enveloped with apple orchards and forests. Overlooking the Giri valley, there is a tourist bungalow. In the summer season, this village is an ideal for enjoying picnic with loved ones. In the winter season, there is snow all around and the place is covered with a sheet of snow. Every year in the month of February, Fagu becomes the venue of winter ski fest.
Himalayan National Park
One of the most popular tourist attractions in Himachal Pradesh, the Himalayan National Park is an eco-tourism as well as a bio-diversity hub. It is home to around 120 avifauna species and rare mammals. Animal lovers can spot snow leopard, musk deer and other rare species of animals as well as plants.

The park has been named after Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India, who visited the region in 1972, at the time of signing of the Shimla Agreement between India and Pakistan.
The park also has an ice-cream parlor, a beer bar, and Lalit café that is run by HPTDC. Visitors can partake in activities like pony ride, yak ride and getting clicked in traditional Himachali dress. The park can be visited on any day of the week, between 9 AM to 6 PM. The entry fee for adults is INR10 and for children is INR 5.
Kufri Fun World
Also known as Adventure Resort (New Kufri), Kufri Fun World is the best place to be if you are with your family and friends. The amusement park has different entertainments and rides for kids as well as adults. Visitors can enjoy go-karting, 5D Cinema, Haunted house, Bunjee trempoline, wave train, smash car, Zip line, and other attractions. There is a restaurant and shopping center too. Bhima Kali Mata Temple

The nearest railway station to Kufri is in Shimla on narrow gauge rail route and broad gauge railway station is in Kalka, around 100 km away. This railway station is well -connected to all the important cities of India. From the station, one can hire a taxi to arrive at Kufri.
