Tilon-ki-Pol, a the beautiful sandstone gateway with superb arched windows is located at the lake's entrance. It is said that one of the King's dancing girls named Tilon had built this gate at the time when the King was away. To add to this a Krishna Temple was built on the top of this gate so that the gate would not be broken down. It is said that the men of the city did not allow their women to walk under the gate. Due to this reason a smaller doorway was built to the right of this gate. The Gadi Sagar lake is just about a ten minute walk from the town.
