Located at a distance of just 25 km from Munnar, Lakkom Waterfalls is placed on the way to Udumalaipettai from Munnar (NH 17). This tiny waterfall is a part of the Eravikulam stream in the Eravikulam National Park. This waterfall is one of the prime tributaries of River Pampar. One can also enjoy swimming here. This beautiful waterfall is enveloped by lush tea gardens and lush rolling hills, forming a lovely sight.
Lakkom or Lakkam waterfall is just a short walk away from the main road and is easily accessible by people of all age groups. The water from the fall gushes down gently forming a number of shallow spaces, ideal for taking a dip or just sitting while the feet are immersed in them.
Eravikulam plateau is the originating point of this water stream and only the bottom of the fall is accessible.
